EDMONTON – The 2011-12 Canada West swimming championships, hosted at the Kinsmen Sports Centre in Edmonton by the University of Alberta, take place January 27-29.

CANADA WEST - The #5 Huskies try to extend the string of victories vs. the Brandon Bobcats, while #7 Alberta travels to face provincial rival Calgary and UBC Okanagan travels to Vancouver to play #3 UBC.

CANADA WEST - Two potential playoff teams meet when the Dinos host the #5 Pandas; winners in nine of their last 10 games, #4 Saskatchewan hosts Brandon in Saskatoon; #3 UBC faces UBC Okanagan.

CANADA WEST - UBC faces a huge test vs. #6 Bears, Taylor Stefishen leads the Dinos vs. Regina as they look to reclaim fourth spot in the conference men's hockey standings.

CANADA WEST - CIS #1 UBC is at Winnipeg to play the #5 Wesmen, while Thompson Rivers closes out the home portion of its season with women's volleyball matches vs. the Saskatchewan Huskies.

FOOTBALL CANADA - Jordan Arkko, Jahlani Gilbert-Knorren, Anthony Coombs and Connor Ralph are among seven Canada West student-athletes named to the IFAF International Bowl World Team roster.
