Hockey playoff picture: Plenty to play for in final regular season weekend

Evan Daum, Canada West Communications

NEW WESTMINSTER - With just one weekend remaining in the Canada West hockey regular season, there's still plenty to play for around the conference, as both the men and women are in for a wild final weekend.

Aside from the Saskatchewan Huskies locking up top spot on the men's side, not much else is solidified in either playoff picture, especially on the women's side, where all eight teams are in playoff races.

The three-point regulation win system on the women's side has helped contribute to the tight races, with countless playoff possibilities heading into the regular season finale.

Here's a look at the playoff races, as we get set for a busy weekend of scoreboard watching around the rinks.
