TRU  head coach Scott Clark:

On the Contest:

"Shooting well is not playing well. We didn't play well. They kicked our ass and we should be embarrassed by our efforts today."

"Victoria head coach Craig Beaucamp (14th season) :

On the Game:

"The biggest thing is that we hit some shots. That was the biggest difference. They didn't shoot the ball as well as they usually do. If you looked at the stats in the first half that was the difference. We hit seven and they hit two. We continued the hot shooting in the second half.  I thought it was a pretty evenly played contest."

The two teams will play again at the Tournament Capital Centre tomorrow (Sat Jan 14). Tip off is 7 pm.

Next week: TRU will wrap up their home stand with back to back games against the University of Winnipeg Wesmen (Jan 13-14). Victoria will return to the Interior to visit Kelowna, BC and the UBCO Heat..
