Cougars welcome the Bisons to Flames Community Arenas for home opener

CALGARY -- Manitoba and Mount Royal had opposite results in their first weekend of regular season play. The Bisons outscored Lethbridge 8-1 in their first two victories of the season. Mount Royal had trouble getting on the board this weekend, scoring only two goals in their two losses to Regina.

Thunderbirds looking for the full 60 minutes against Dinos

VANCOUVER -- The UBC Thunderbirds women's hockey team (1-1-0) will host the Calgary Dinos (0-1-1) at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. (PT) and Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. (PT).
