THEY SAID IT!! (post game quotes):

TRU Assistant Coach Chuck Ferguson::

On the Contest: " We weren't able to sustain a run and that was part of the problem. We came out with guns on fire in the fourth and hit a lot of shots. But it wasn't sustainable.  We dug ourselves a big hole at the start and getting out of it became a ponderous task. The girls certainly put up the effort but it just wasn't there tonight."

Victoria Head coach Dani Sinclair (7th season):

On what they did well : "We really moved the ball well tonight. With 23 assists that was one of the highest numbers we had all season. They obviously were thry to take away Amira. But she moved the ball well and had six assists herself. Other players stepped up and shared the load."

The  WolfPack and the Vikes will both be on the road next week.  Thompson Rivers will visit Vancouver, and the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds next Friday and Saturday (Nov 16-17).

Victoria will head over the Rockies to tackle the University of Calgary Dinos on Saturday and Sunday (Nov 17-18).

The Pack return home to kick off a four game home stand before the Christmas break.  First up will be their closest geographical rivals: the University of BC Okanagan Heat.  They will meet in a rare Frdiay morning match up on Friday, November 23rd on the Warner Rentals court..

The early start time is needed to facilitate the fact all four of TRU's 'court sport teams' are at home that weekend.

 All WolfPack games—home and away—are webcast on a pay per view basis on Canada West TV.
